Tapri Media Launches Gujarati News Portal, Embracing Depth and Positivity in Journalism

Surat (Gujarat) [India] August 7: Tapri Media has entered the digital journalism and entertainment arena with the launch of its new Gujarati news portal. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Krishnakant Unadkat, esteemed editor of "Sandesh" and celebrated author. Dr. Jignasa Oza from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board also attended as a special guest.

Founded to celebrate India's love for tea, Tapri Media aims to deliver enriching and insightful content on a national scale, with a strong focus on arts and culture. Breaking away from conventional journalism, Tapri Media has instituted a "No Breaking News" policy, prioritizing feature stories over immediate news flashes. Environmental conservation and women's safety will be key themes in their content lineup.

Krishnakant Unadkat expressed his support for Tapri Media, predicting that it will "carve a new niche" in the media landscape. Viral Desai, a prominent environmentalist and the driving force behind Tapri Media, voiced his enthusiasm for the portal's launch. "The rise of short content and sensational breaking news has heightened societal sensationalism. Tapri Media aims to shift the focus towards depth, positivity, and patience in our reporting," Desai stated.

Ankit Desai, the Founder and Editor-in-Chief, acknowledged the challenges of providing quality content in today's fast-paced media environment. "In the era of reels, offering substantial content in journalism and entertainment is challenging. Steering clear of sensationalism to provide positive and in-depth content is risky, but we are committed to delivering engaging and meaningful stories nationwide." Looking ahead, Tapri Media plans to launch "Tapri Studio," which will produce various shows, podcasts, and interviews covering topics such as arts, culture, health, and relationships.
