Copper futures gain on higher spot demand
New Delhi, Aug 19 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday rose 0.65 per cent to Rs 814 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in September traded higher Rs 5.25 or 0.65 per cent at Rs 814 per kg in a business turnover of 3,611 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants. PTI SGC SHW
